An excellent night for Saturday Night Live.....so far. Starting off with the Lawrence Welk Show was a great choice. Kristen Wigg is just so hysterical I can't stand it. Her forehead, hands, and voice contribute to her hilarious character of Judice!
Then, James Franco's intro was pretty good. Wasn't rolling on the floor but it wasn't bad or boring. But when he said "Make this the best SNL Christmas show of all time," both me and my father said, "I don't think so!" You can't even compare him to all the legends that have performed at past Christmas shows.
Now, I don't really enjoy What up with That? skits. Kennan just interrupts too much with his singing. I know that's the point of the whole skit, but it really get kind of annoying. However, once Kristen Wigg walked out, it got a bit funnier because I just love her so much. It was great to see Mike Tyson. I really wanted him to get up and punch Keenan though, that would've made the whole skit.
The Christmas Family skit was funny. I was NOT expecting the brother to start making out with Franco. That was crazy! The Affectionate Family was so scary. And I could not stop laughing when the brother grabbed the grandma's boob. It was a little much but still funny.
The Jammy Short was pretty good as well. It was very confusing in a funny way. You just think, "Why the heck are they holding knives and taking pills?" but laughing at the same time.
The Dominican skit was pretty bad. I didn't really laugh at all. To repetitive with the dancing and it got old very quickly.
